Finding What Feels Right
Do you know that feeling when something you’ve worked so very hard for feels like it comes together? Some call it flow. You could call it playing your best game. In coaching, I’ve come to know this as my Leader Within or Best Self.
I’ve been there so many times. First, as a nationally ranked junior tennis player. Then, in the midst of writing my thesis at Cornell. Again, I’ve had that optimal experience in this work, as I’ve connected dots across stakeholder groups or discovered the superpowers of those people who would become part of the Mighty Catalyst team. Most recently, I enter flow during personalized coaching sessions, witnessing weeds and other debris being cleared away from a client’s path.
Everything just clicks. I KNOW I’m where I’m meant to be. It feels easy and right. While I’m in the midst of doing the work to create impact, it’s not work at all. It’s effortless and it’s synergistic in that it feeds me, creates MORE energy for myself and others, not less. It’s like beginning to sing a song with others, all of us with our unique rhythms and keys, but then suddenly and without effort finding ourselves falling into harmony.
So, what does it solve for me? It’s like answering the calls from my higher self, my gut, my intuition.
A Gap Between What I Was Doing and How I Was Feeling
For years, I had honed a skillset, but wasn’t experiencing the harmony I knew was possible.
I was looking for ways to truly integrate and leverage ALL the skill sets and approaches I’ve gained, applied, and witnessed across the years. I wanted to use them in creative, tailored ways to meet the needs of the partners and clients we serve. I saw highly skilled professionals who, if brought together, could form an incredible team; one with a fundamental “in-their-bones” belief in the need to put those we serve at the heart of the work, even if it’s sometimes harder to do. Ultimately, I knew it would make for better work, plain and simple. And that excited me.
I did this because I know it’s possible to do high-quality work in a way that feels energized and energizing, sustainable, purposeful, done with heart, and is fun, and thus capable of creating an even bigger impact for our partners.

I created Mighty Catalyst so that I could commit to solutions that feel right, full-time.
